Penthouse Plus Hardware

High specification sliding patio door hardware designed for smooth operation, dependable durability and a clean contemporary finish.

Penthouse Plus Black D-Handle

D-Handle Option

Robust D-handles provide a strong and practical hardware option for Penthouse Plus patio doors. Slightly more commercial in appearance, they follow a familiar patio door handle design and offer a secure, ergonomic hand hold for smooth everyday operation.

Available colours: White, Black and Silver.

Penthouse Plus Lever-Lever Handle

Lever-Lever Handle

Our lever-lever handles offer a more contemporary look and feel. When locked, the handles park upright so they do not project into the glass sightline when the doors are closed and not in use.

This gives the door a neater overall appearance whilst still providing practical and easy operation.

Available colours: White, Black and Silver.

Penthouse Plus stainless steel track and rollers

Track & Rollers

Penthouse Plus patio doors are bottom hung and run on high strength rollers designed to support sash weights of up to 200kg. Combined with a stainless steel track, the system delivers a smooth, easy-glide opening action.

The hardwearing nylon rollers support the full door weight, while the sliding sash overlaps and conceals the rollers as it runs along the track in a monorail-style arrangement.

For locks, cylinders and other security-related hardware, see the security section.

Penthouse Plus Security

Penthouse Plus patio doors have been designed with security in mind, combining robust locking, anti-lift protection and secure glazing details to help provide confidence without compromising on style.

Penthouse Plus patio door security features
High security multi-point locking
01

High Security Multi-Point Locking

Penthouse Plus patio doors are fitted with high security multi-point locking as standard. The mechanism consists of five locking points, including four bi-directional heavy duty mushroom bolts and a deep throw hook lock to help fully secure the sliding panels.

Anti-lift blocks
02

Anti-Lift Blocks

Anti-lift blocks are fitted to the top and bottom of each sliding sash to help prevent the panels from being disengaged from the track. They also act as guides to assist the smooth sliding action of the doors.

Mono-rail frame construction
03

Mono-Rail Frame Construction

The sliding panels run on a mono-rail style track which acts as both a guide and an additional security measure. When closed, the sash wraps around the frame jambs to help conceal the locks and resist attack.

Key locking handles
04

Key Locking Handles

Once the door is closed, the key can be used to lock the cylinder and prevent the handle from being used to operate the locking mechanism, providing an extra level of reassurance.

High security glazing
05

High Security Glazing

Penthouse Plus patio doors are internally glazed using a high security glazing bead and wedge gasket. Toughened safety glass is supplied as standard, with laminated security glass available as an upgrade for even greater protection.
