Our patented Chelton Secure™ Locking handle will give your windows the strength of steel and the best security available. The Chelton® handle actuates the modern multi-point locking - securing the window on up to three sides with six plus locking points. When combined with sash jammers, to secure the hinge edge, you get all round window security.
The contemporary, slim and discreet design of this handle allows it to blending into your window. With anti-ligature aspects this handle will provide you with an authentic looking window from the outside, which is in keeping with your modern interior.
These handles have been designed to look like traditional steel window handles. They have a simple 1930's Art Deco style that fits in nicely to any period property, and especially when replacing old steel windows.

Option 2 - 'The Evolution' is a basic Smarts Systems window and incorporates either an Offset Espag handle and Espag lock or a basic Cockspur handle and Cockspur Lock. The vents are friction hinged and have the option of Duration windows Dummy Butt Hinges for a more authentic finish.
These aluminium windows are available with industry standard key lockable espag handles. Simple, ergonomic and easy to use these handles are of the highest quality and are built to last with an excellent finish.
Friction hinges are the industry standard window hinge, it remains open by means of friction in the hinge. The clever design of the hinge allows you to keep your window open in any given position without the need for a old fashioned Peg & Stay.

Egress Easy Clean hinges are fire escape hinges, which allow windows of over 350mm wide to comply to Part B (for fire safety) of the Building Regs. They can also slide across to enable cleaning of the outside glass, as with standard friction hinges.

Restrictor hinges are safty hinges that provide a restricted opening of between 7° - 16° depending on the size of the opening, allowing for ventilation, while protecting against accidental falling. You can release and fully open the window for cleaning.s.

Dummy butt hinges are an optional extra. They are designed to give the appearance of working butt hinges, without the cleaning and safety considerations, of working butt hinges. The rollers are concealed by the sliding sash, which overlaps and runs on the track like a monorail.
Dummy Parliament hinges are an optional extra. They are designed to give the appearance of traditional parliament hinges, projecting out from the frame, but without the safety considerations, of working Parliament hinges.
Our Profile related working butt hinges will give you a truly authentic look, when the window is open and closed. In a closed position the hinges interlock and act as sash jammers. Used in conjunction with a Peg & Stay (not recommended for upper floors).
