Aluminium Orangery Roofs

Aluminium Orangery Roofs

Orangeries surpass the means of the conventional conservatory, by providing a flexible and independent space that more closely resembles that of an extension to the house. While still gaining all the natural light, warmth and ambience that a glass roof provides. Large windows and doors are traditional features of an orangery, with the roof either fitted as a traditional conservatory roof or as a lantern roof.

Similar to a green house or conservatory these Winter gardens were very common between the 17th and 19th century. Their name reflects the original use of the building as a place where exotic fruit trees were kept during the winter to protect them from frost. Since then the function of orangeries has gone on to include kitchens, dining rooms or simply extra living space in which to relax or entertain.

Aluminium Orangery Roof

Orangeries are becoming more and more popular as they gain exposure from home building and renovating style programs such as Grand Design. Some homes demand more, and our orangeries make for a stylish alternative to the conventional conservatory. An orangery will provide an additional living space that will make a significant and valuable investment for any property.

Our high performance aluminium roof system has thermally broken aluminium profiles. Aluminium is low maintenance and will remain in a pristine condition, with just simple soap and wash cleaning. The natural strength of aluminium allows for slim profiles, less frame and more glass area. Combine one of our beautiful orangery roofs with our fantastic Bi-folding Doors, to create a room where you can experience the outdoors from the comfort of your own home, whatever the weather.
