E-Mail Help
If you are experiencing problems with receiving e-mails from
Duration Windows please check the information below. If you are
still not able to resolve the problem we are more than happy to
fax, post, or e-mail your information to another address.
MAIL NOT GETTING TO YOUR INBOX
- JUNK MAIL FOLDER Most e-mail programmes use a junk filter to keep unwanted e-mail out of your inbox. Determining what is junk and what is not is not an exact science.
Many e-mail programmes have a setting that determines how
aggressive the junk-mail filter is - either opting to filter out only very obvious junk, or filtering out items that could be junk.
To change your filtering level in Hotmail: With the mail envelope tab selected, use the "Options" link at the top right of the screen, then click "Junk E-Mail Protection", then click "Junk E-Mail Filter".
If you find our e-mails in your Junk folder: Please add us to your "Safe Senders List" - this will then mean that future e-mails will go to your inbox.
NOT SEEING PICTURES IN YOUR E-MAILS
Pictures within e-mails can be used by spammers to determine if they have found a valid and alive e-mail address - so some e-mail programmes prevent the automatic download of pictures - letting the user download them if they trust the sender of the e-mail.
To show pictures in Outlook: Microsoft Outlook shows a box at the top of the e-mail including
the text "To help protect your privacy Outlook prevented automatic download of some pictures in this message". Clicking this message downloads the pictures.
To show pictures in Hotmail: With the mail envelope tab selected, use the "Options"
link at the top right of the screen. Clicking this link, then clicking "Mail Display Settings"
will allow you to "Display Internet Content" or not.
IF OUR E-MAILS ARE NOT IN YOUR JUNK FOLDER OR YOUR INBOX
- Your mailbox may be full up and therefore rejecting new e-mails. Try freeing up some space by deleting unwanted e-mails.
- E-mails may be going to your junk folder - but your junk folder may be set to delete junk automatically - rather than keeping it for a
short period of time. Please check your junk mail settings.
- Temporary delay. E-mails are normally near instant - but sometimes there are delays. Please allow another 10 minutes for the e-mail to arrive.
- If you have access to another e-mail address then please try that account.
- Check that your service provider (Tiscali, Wannadoo, BT etc) are not experiencing problems.
- Contact us and we can fax or post your e-mail to you.
