Aluminium Patio Doors Overview
Unlike many patio doors our aluminium patio door can have BOTH PANELS SLIDING, and no fixed panel. This allows you to have a far more flexible, user friendly doors that don't restrict your furniture layout. Normal patio doors have a fixed panel and just one sliding panel. This fixed layout dictates the positioning of your furniture. With the Duration Aluminium Patio Door, both (or more) panels can slide to either side - so that you are not tied to where you can place your furniture. Our patio can now incorporate a flyscreen panel, to keep out the mosquitoes while letting in the cool air, during those humid summer evenings.

- Maximum glass and minimum frame
- Panels may be up to 1.5 metres wide each.
- ALL PANELS CAN SLIDE - there are no fixed panels.
- 2,3,4 & 6 panel options.
- 2 or 3 tracks for maximum widths and flexibility. 3 tracks and 3 panels, with all panels sliding, gives around a two-thirds opening.
- Colours include White, Silver Anodised, Brown, Black, plus single RAL and dual RAL colours.
- Polyamide thermal break.
- 6000mm maximum width.
- 2400mm maximum height.
- Multipoint high security locking.

Triple Track with Integral Flyscreen Panel
We also have the option of adding a flyscreen panel on the inner track, to keep out the insects through those warm summer evenings. This can be pulled across to either side of the door and used to let in the fresh air while preventing insects from entering the house. The flyscreen mesh is easily removed for cleaning or when replacing an old mesh. The whole flyscreen panel can also be removed and stored in the winter months when it's not in use.
High Security Locking is Standard
4 point high security locking is standard for doors over 1800mm high (most doors are around 2100mm). The picture below shows a typical lock from our patio doors. You can see in the picture the high security "hook locks" that hook into the frame of the door. Your doors will come with 1, 2 or 3 keys depending on the door design.
Colours
- White is the standard colour, however Black, Brown, Silver or 200 other colours are available.
- Furniture is either black or white.
