Tilt Back Balanced Vertical Sliding Aluminium Secondary Glazing
Designed to match existing sash windows, our Tilt Back balanced vertical sliding secondary glazing is one of our most popular secondary glazing products. They reduce noise, cut heat loss, are easy to fit and are very affordable.
Our Tilt Back Balanced Vertical Slider is made from slim and strong aluminium. The panels are balanced - reducing the effort required to slide the panels up and down. The balances also mean the panels remains in position at whatever height you leave them. By operating finger latches the panels can be tilted innwards for easy cleaning. They are available in a variety of colours and accept many types of glazing.
Key Features:
- Balanced - reduces effort to slide panels up and down. Also, panels remain in position when partly open. Balances are factory adjusted to suit each panel based on the panels weight. Panels will not fly upwards or slide down.
- Tilt Back - panels tilt inwards for easy cleaning.
- Subframe fixing - easy to fix by either attaching to existing window (direct fix) or by attaching to the reveal (reveal fix). The subframe comes in a variety of wood types (MDF, Luan and Tulip) and includes matching trims to cover screw fixings.
- Panels may easily be removed to allow full access to existing window for decorating, maintenance etc. Through clever design our balances remain in a fixed position even when the panels (and therefore weight) are removed. Balances on other systems often need to be manually jammed to prevent the balance pushing up when the weight of the panel is removed.
- Variety of glass types including special acoustic glass or glass to minimise heat loss.
- Standard colours are White, Brown and Silver, but your secondary can also be made in any RAL colour.
- Recommended widths are between 400mm and 1250mm
- Recommended heights are between 800mm and 2450mm.
- Optional trickle vents on SF3 (reveal fix) system.
