Friction Hinge Aluminium Secondary Glazing
Our Friction Hinged units are single panel units and come in either side or top hung variants. The friction hinges provide a small amount of resistance when operating the panel - thus allowing the panel to stay at the chosen amount of opening. Secondary glazing reduces noise, cuts heat loss, is easy to fit and is very affordable.
Our friction hinged units are made from slim and strong aluminium. The friction hinges keep the panels open to the chosen angle by using hinges that give a small amount of resistance to be moved. Available as single panels in either top hung or side hung styles, they accept a variety of glass to reduce heat loss and cut noise. Due to their hinge style these panels do not give a full opening - for a full opening please see our butt hinged units.
