Durations Roller Garage Doors
The Duration executive garage door comprises of a curtain made up of individually interlocking aluminium profiles, which run vertically within guide channels. This curtain retracts into the enclosure, driven by a covered electric motor.
A remote control system activates the motor, which can also be operated manually via a crank handle. the compact units also allow homeowners more room within their garage as well as offering exceptional security. Automatically locking, Duration executive garage doors can be fitted internally or externally dependant on individual requirements.
Insulated Rollers
The Duration Executive garage doors standard 77mm roll formed aluminium construction with polyurethane foam insulation. A 55mm profile is also available for applications where headroom may be an issue. high strength PVC mouldings secure the profiles in place with aluminium rivets.
For spans greater than 5500mm, Duration offers an extruded profile p77, ensuring a solution to most situations.
Bottom Rail and Guide Channels
The bottom rail of the executive garage door is a 77mm extruded aluminium section that has a dual formed rubber weather seal to help prevent rain water from flowing underneith the door.
The guide channels are situated at either side of the door, they are made out of aluminium and are Powder coated to any of the standard colours. The channels are a 90mm extruded aluminium section with a protective woolpile and PIC inset as standard.
Roller Enclosure
The Roller encloser is a roll formed aluminium box and lid with cast end plates. The 77mm profile utilises a 300mm enclosure, the 55mm profile rolls into a 205mm enclosure.
The bottom rail, guide channels and enclosures are available in white or brown as standard; however they can be powder coated to match the chosen curtain on request.

Motor And Remote Control
The motor that opens and closes the garage door is a CE marked electric tubular motor with automatic limit controls. A manual override facility ensures the doors can be opened in the event of a power failure.
A rolling encrypted code is transmitted for each signal. An integrated courtesy light activates on operation and long life lithium batteries power the Key-fob handsets. The door operates by using just one click and a door cannot be opened using a different key-fob.
