Aluminium Secondary Glazing
Our Horizontal Sliding Secondary Glazing is extremely versatile, slides smoothly and is available with two to five panels. Horizontal sliders are perfect for sound and thermal insulation for casement windows, hinged windows, or any window that has vertical bars. Panels slide within the frame allowing easy access to the existing outer windows, providing ventilation without interfering with curtains or blinds.
Horizontal Sliders are available in our Economy Odd Leg, Luxury Subframe and Heavy Duty systems. Units can be linked with coupling sections allowing both large and ribbon windows to be successfully treated.

How Our Horizontal Sliding Secondary System Works
Features Of Our Two Track Horizontal Sliders:
- 2 tracks and 2 to 5 panels (Heavy Duty up to 4 panels).
- Can add flyscreen insert panels only.
- 4 - 6.8mm single glazing or 20mm double glazed sealed units when using our heavy duty system.
- Available in Economy Odd Leg, Luxury subframe and Heavy Duty systems.
Features Of Our Triple Track Horizontal Sliders:
- Perfect for situations where there are three sliding panels.
- 3 tracks and 3 panels gives approximately two-thirds clear opening.
- Improved access to your existing windows.
- Increased ventilation. (Up to three times the air flow).
- Easily add a flyscreen on its own track - see below.
- 4 - 6.8mm Glazing.
- Only available with Luxury subframe system.
3 (Triple) Track With Integral Flyscreen
Our triple track system allows maximum flexibility for summer and winter. In the winter, the secondary glass panels operate as normal secondary glazing - cutting out draughts and noise.
