One of the most recognizable features of a 1930’s ‘Art Deco’ home was the curved on plan metal windows. Our Heritage ‘Stepped’ windows can replicate these Art Deco style Suntrap bay windows (also known as Quadrant windows). As part of our Heritage Range it uses steel look-a-like profiles which will maintain the character and integrity of your period property.
Finishing touches such as optional welded corners and traditional furniture complete the classic look. These metal windows have been successfully installed in grade II listed buildings and conservation areas and will be a great improvement on your old steel windows. They use the latest ‘Polyamide’ thermal break technology and have high security Chelton Secure™ locking - and are a fraction of the cost of steel.
Suntrap bays are curved horizontally (or on plan) which is not an easy task to perform. All shaping and bending is performed in-house on the latest computer controlled section bending machines.
