This aluminium window system is the perfect solution for the replacement of existing old putty glazed steel windows. Designed to replicate the appearance and slim sightlines of traditional putty glazed steel windows, whilst offering superior security, weather and thermal performances. They use the latest ‘Polyamide’ thermal break barrier technology, and double glazed gas filled sealed units to achieve U values as low as 1.3.
These windows can be fitted into original or new timber frames or direct to brick. The 45° angled putty line design replicates old putty glazed steel windows, and will maintain the character of your property. Finishing touches such as optional welded corners complete the look. This system is suitable for new build as well as replacement or refurbishment projects, for use in listed buildings and conservation areas.

Glass Options
When it comes to glass, and glass designs you can literally have almost anything you want. Our standard glass is clear, 90% argon filled sealed units (low-E, en=0.05, soft coat), 1.2 centre pane U-value.
In the Heritage Putty Line system you can have double glazed sealed units 28mm in depth (these units can take integrated blinds). Our Heritage Putty Line Windows are available with square or diamond leaded glazing that can be soldered for a more authentic look, georgian bars that are fitted inside the sealed units, A-shaped or flat astragal bars, which are fitted on the outside of the glass with a dummy spacer / internal duplex spacer bar. Paint Finishes
The Heritage Putty Line Window is available in a range of conventional colours, a black 'Hammerite' style textured paint finish or any RAL colour paint finish. You can also choose to have dual coloured windows, where you can have a different colour outside and inside. For example black outside and white inside, which is one of our most popular dual colour options. Our standard Colour range is as follows:

Textured Paint Finishes
If your after a truly authentic look and feel then this paint option is for you. Our 'Hammerite' style textured paint is suitable for internal and external use. Rather than the new clean shinny finish you will get on most new windows, this paint will give your windows a rustic look that will compliment your period property.
